If I am contacting you directly, it is because I have had the pleasure of interacting with you in someway/ or you have interacted with one of the businesses I have been involved in building.

Having recently left the security of a medical career, I have greeted with a rainbow of responses as I tell friends, family, colleagues and strangers about this career move.

Here are some of the responses I have had (partially for informative value, and partially for comedic value):

• ‘Well I suppose you could always claim job seekers allowance’

After a few requests from colleagues and friends to keep them posted with my life decisions which appear unorthodox to some, I decided to put together a few articles that I will send around with the following aims:

• keep you posted on how life outside of medicine is, and how it compares
• the rationale behind making this decision
• the business deals, which are usually property-related, that I am looking at and might be of interest to you also.
